You may want to examine the reasons that you want to go greek, and see if you can get the same thing from another organization such as a service sorority or a club of some sort. (I think that was suggested above.
Another thought is that just by going through rush you meet all kinds of new and interesting people and can usually make some new friends in several different houses even if that doesn't result in a bid.
