my favorite idea to get the whole bachelorette party to loosen up and have fun is to take a long a cute little unlined journal. attach a pen too it maybe with a ribbon using a stapler, hot glue, whatever you've got that will hold up for the night.

if the night starts at dinner, you can get everyone in the party to sign it with best wishes, thoughts, advice for a great marriage, memories... whatever they want to write.

and get the restaurant staff that you interact with to sign with best wishes or advice for a good marriage (these can get pretty funny i.e. DON'T DO IT! PICK ME INSTEAD!). this warms up the girls in your party that have never seen this idea before to use the book as an icebreaker later in the night....

the book can be passed around in your group during the barhopping to record what was hapening at the moment (both b/c you night not remember and b/c you night not see everything that happens if your party is larger) the entries can be pretty funny i.e. it is 11:30 and you are on the bar and i am taking a pic of you!

and the book can be given to the more shy members in your party to go up to a group of people or a bartender to get them to sign the book with advice and "break the ice" or to ask for a dare (you can ask the person you are approaching to sign the book after they complete the dare)

the dares or scavenger hunt lists can even be attached in the journal to refer to when needed. you can get a lot of attention, meet a lot of people, and get free stuff this way.

the book should be a small to medium sized unlined journal so that it doesn't get in the way and so that it also doesn't get lost (you can find them at a book store or an art supply store) and it is a great souvenir for the bachelorette!

i have been to about 5 bachelorette parties where this idea was used, with some bachelorettes who were scandalous and some who were reserved, and it definitely livened up the night regardless. and it is very fun to read it the next day!

have fun!!
