Herein is the crux of the problem. We are members of organizations with ideals and standards (just look to our Rituals and Constitutions).

For too many people, fraternity "membership" is antithetical - to be able to belong to something with no rules - do as you please. We have strayed too far from our original founders idea of what "fraternity" was and is supposed to be.

Either it starts to be fixed from within, or it WILL be torn apart from without.
