Washington, DC...Sigma Phi Epsilon, the nation's largest
fraternity, has established a chapter at Georgetown University. After conducting 150 interviews, 45 men were invited to join SigEp. The chapter has a 3.47 cumulative GPA and an average SAT score of 1420, and its members are involved in varsity crew, rugby, fencing, water polo,
squash, blue and grey tour guides, habitat for humanity, Knights of Columbus, Navy ROTC, Georgetown Fit Club, The Corp, Hoya Outreach, Georgetown Prison Outreach, and Pilipino Club. Some of the chapters members include the USG chief of staff, the president of the College Republicans, the president and treasurer of the Freshman Class, the closing attorney for mock trials, founder of the Young Democrats, several John Carroll Fellows, recipient of the Presidential Service Award, International Trustee Key Club, National Hispanic Scholar, and field director for Kerry Edwards' campaign.

The Alumni and Volunteer Corporation (AVC) includes 15
members, Chapter Counselor Anthony C. Balestrieri, George Washington '03; AVC President W. Scott Howard, Angelo State '88; Co-Balanced Man Program Stewards Giueseppi Nespoli Jr., Pepperdine '04, and Brandon J.
Neukam, Northern Kentucky '04; Faculty Fellow Dr. Gary M. Shiffman, Colorado '88; AVC Treasurer Matthew A. Ward, Nevada Reno '04; Resident Scholar Jeffrey C. Fang, UC-Davis '02; Legal Council Carter E. Keithley, Indiana '68; Secretary Shawn M. Rolland, Drake '04; Vice President for
Recruitment and Awards John A. Schuyler, Western Michigan '00.

Georgetown University, located in Washington, D.C., was
originally founded in 1789 and is ranked in the top 25 universities in the United States by the Princeton Review. Georgetown welcomes 6,537 students each year to its campus. There are two fraternities and one sorority on campus.
