you know...

this kind of thing really does sadden me for the simple fact that this is another act of foolishness that reflects negatively on both the Sorority and greek life as a whole... the NPHC is NO stranger to this type of thing, and i am actually very surprised the victim is only suing for $25,000+, considering that some NPHC orgs have faced multi-million dollar suits...
at either rate, i ask the SAME questions as everyone else:
when will these people get the point? and at what point do you rationalize that it is okay to beat someone to the point of injury as a means of initiation or tradition?

i love SIGMA GAMMA RHO with all my heart, but i promise the day this kind of thing happens to my sister or my daughter, i will make sure that SOMEBODY pays for it because this type of behavior is just NOT okay...it's time to really cut this out.
