sounds like a mess, and you're very lucky that the school is being so lenient with the punishment and not trying to get you kicked off.
Alcohol awareness presentations aren't all that complicated to put together and could work. I'd probably also add in a lot of community service...maybe specifically target something that involves alcoholism
