In my opinion, if they actually RAPED and MURDERED this child, they should be in jail for AT LEAST until they turn 21. Especially since the oldest is thirteen. At thirteen, he very well knows right from wrong. I agree there are many holes in their story, but the bottom line: a young girl is dead and it was a possible RAPE/MURDER. I don't know, maybe I am being a little harsh, but I just think if that was my daughter/cousin/sister...I would want someone to pay for that.
