Nothing out of the ordinary, but being a restaurant worker - as in host/ess, bartender, server, or manager. Not back in the kitchen though.
You're in a environment with co-workers that are friendly, extroverted, usually attractive, and in their 20's. There's almost always some kind of drama going on. The hours go fast (and they're usually short hours, like 3-6 hours per shift). There's constant interaction. You can observe the strangest and most interesting conversations from guests. Never a dull moment!
