How is that possible? The recruit "through another fraternity" thing?
Do they use another fraternity's chapter house for their recruitment? i.e. They were active with the AB chapter of XYZ fraternity and now, as XYZ alumni, they use the KLM fraternity's house to recruit members for XYZ.
Or do they recruit under another name? i.e. They were active members of the AB chapter of XYZ but now these same guys call themselves the GHI fraternity. And as such, they are recruiting not for XYZ but for GHI.
In either case, it doesn't seem like the XYZ HQ would recognized any of these 13 pledges as members of XYZ since they were not recruited via an active XYZ chapter.
