A week after violence broke out between their entourages, rappers 50 Cent and The Game appeared together this afternoon to bury their beef and donate money to charities in New York and California.
The hip-hop stars appeared relaxed and smiling as they shook hands and announced donations of $253,000 to the Boys Choir of Harlem and an unspecified sum to the Compton Unified School District music program in Compton, Calif.
"In the shadow of the untimely death of Biggie, we are here to show that people can rise above even the most difficult of circumstances," said 50 Cent, referring to the shooting death of rap legend Christopher Wallace, who was also known as Biggie Smalls and the Notorious B.I.G. "Together we can put negativity behind us."
