FWIW, I somewhat agree with you - I was playing devil's advocate.
The thing is finding a volunteer with those skills WHO CAN AFFORD TO DO IT ON A VOLUNTEER BASIS. If you're a 25 year old computer whiz with beaucoup student loans to repay, no matter how much you love your GLO you're gonna go work for the company that actually PAYS you.
Most of our alums who could afford to be full time volunteers are older and not as up on this stuff.
And I agree with you about the "unprivate" sides - eeeek
