The city can handle it better than any other on the planet. We have more special events, like all the UN business that goes on, than any other city on a regular basis.

Working against us is that the IOC does not like to award consecutive Olympics to the same continent.

Working in our favor is Mayor Bloomberg, and not just because he's a Phi Psi. He's pulled stuff out of his ass that blows my mind (getting rid of the Board of Education after 5 consecutive mayors failed to do so,) despite being an "amateur politician."

Mike Bloomberg is probably the only mayor in world that truly has the inside connections to swing votes our way.

On the surface, it looks like its going to London, or maybe Paris. None of us know what's going on behind the scenes. We'll know in four months.
