If you do not care for someone because of his race, religion, sexuality, whatever, why disrespect them? Don't talk to them. But do not disrespect them. You "certainly could have chosen to publicly bash his gayness and his recent post"?? Well bashing someone is not respect and creating this thread is bashing his recent post.
If someone violates a rule on Greekchat, then the moderator is supposed to step in and do something about it. Harassing someone and bashing them and insulting them does not fit within those rules. Those rules are created by the administrator, John Hammel, and those rules you have created for the "House of Alpha" do not apply (perhaps if you created your own website).
You should have stepped in to prevent those postings by members of even your fraternity since they violated Greekchat.com rules. But instead of following Greekchat rules, you decided to follow your own set of rules (House of Alpha) and that allowed you to keep those posts up.
You are all grown men. Behave like it.

Good Day Brothers,
I appreciate the pm. The issue of gays in the frat continue to arise. In addition, the issue is of relevance because we have an openly gay frat brother on GC.
I think all will agree that I have tried to garner support for Bro. Senuret regardless of his personal choices. However, his public remark on the "other" board is a disrespect to me and the brotherhood. I am deeply saddened that he would publicly post as he did.
I certainly could have chosen to publicly bash his gayness and his recent post. However, I think it is noteworthy that Brothers read his remarks. Upon doing so, it will be clear that all Brothers are not made the same and all Brothers do not respect Alpha and the true fraternal spirit that abides. To that end, Brother Senuret has stated that he will no longer post on this avenue. I wish him the best that life affords - love, peace and happiness.
Lest we forget, Hold High the Light!
