Egypt is cool because it is Egyptian, not Arab or African...I asked a foreign student at University from Egypt which region Egypt was in...I didn't phrase it like that but whatever...he explained that Egypt could not be defined, and whatever happened in neigboring countries would always be seen as forgeing affairs, no matter what langauge/religious similarites they have.
