It depends - for roll call before meeting some guys like to shorten it to 'EE' while others prefer the full 'Epsilon Epsilon'... I've never heard an abbreviation of words... finally when talking to other chapters the long form is always used.

Finally in comparison to JonoBN41's post - the guys always use the term "Zeta number" - I think partly because we have had are share of Brothers from other chapters that had transfered to ours over the years... so from roll-calls it's easy to remember that the McGill guys mostly go with 'II' not 'Iota Iota' - whereas the UWO and Alberta guys always use the long forms, 'Delta Eta' and 'Epsilon Rho' repsectively.
