I think that as soon as you apply the label "nice guy" to yourself . . . uhhh, you're getting a little presumptuous.
As I explained to valkyrie, my friend and I discovered in high school that nice boys are only going to do nice things for you so they can try to get into your pants -- and then they whine when you don't automatically put out. (This article pretty much plays into that theory.) At least the bad boys are honest about their intentions of getting into our pants.
And this is coming from a girl who has NEVER dated a bad boy and not really understood the attraction -- but I'd much rather have a nice boy who thinks he isn't than a nice boy who thinks he is.
