I was "medium" popular in HS. There was a group of like 4 girls who were THE TOP most popular girls. (think Plastics from Mean Girls). They would always spread rumors about us because they felt threatened by our "medium" popularity. One of them even started a fight @ Winter Formal because she was soo appalled that a "medium" popular was named Queen and she got Crowner (second place basically). When I was in the running for Prom queen, they insisted that the election was rigged and that I had all my friends "stuff" ballots.
The funniest thing was they ALWAYS insisted, that we weren't the MOST popular because popular girls didn't get A's and take AP classes. These girls were exstatic to get C's.
So they made HS kind of suck.
And now:
Plastic #1- Works at Payless. Not pursuing any futher education.
Plastic #2- Works at McDonald's full time, while shacking with now loser bf who was also really popular.
Plastic #3- Has 2 kids and works at Golden Popper in the mall.
Plastic #4- Does absolutely nothing. Lives with her mom and still parties faithfully with Plastics 1,2, and 3 while reminiscing about being popular.
