YES. There was this girl I hated in high school who was popular only because her brother was the football star of our school. He was a senior when the girl and me were freshman. She thought she was cool and better than everyone else. But she looked like a horse. Seriously. She had a really long face, huge teeth, and tiny eyes. She was really tall and broad just like her brother (and a horse) except the body type looked a lot better on him. My friends and I nicknamed her "Mrs. Ed" and we would mumble a "NEIGHHHHHHH" or we'd start singing the theme to Mr. Ed whenever she was around.
She milked her brother's reputation for all 4 years of high school. I hear that she dropped out of community college and is now waitressing at a restaurant in the town where I grew up. I've thought about stopping by the restaurant just so I can laugh at her but that would mean I'd have to see her and looking at her makes me vomit so I think I'll pass.
On that note, did anyone go to school with someone that was popular just because everyone else was scared of him/her? There was a girl at my school that was constantly beating up people for no reason. She threatened to beat up my friend Jared because she claimed that he gave her a dirty look one time. My senior year, she went ballistic on me in the school parking lot because she stepped in front of my car and while swerving to avoid killing her, I gave her this look like "you idiot". She got invited to all the parties and hung out with the popular group because, as I was told, they were afraid that she was going to hurt them if they didn't let her hang out with them.
