I too, know the feeling. When I first graduated, I still had A LOT of friends at the house and by b/f still had a semester to go, so I was ALWAYS around. I used to make fun of myself, saying I was a glorfied "High School Harry", to which my friend Liz replied, "no, you're more like a "University Eugene."
Things changed a lot though when I moved out of my parents house and to a different town. The town I live in now is the second largest city in MD and I live in the historic district where everyone is pretty much a twentysomething and there are A LOT of cool things to do around here. I went down to help out with recruitment this last month andwent out with a couple of the girls that I know that are still in school. When I was down hanging out in the bars, all I thought about was "I would so rather be in Frederick hanging out with my friends up there"-so things definitely do change.
