Interesting. That house looks great from the outside. It must be a real mess inside.
Lawyers can be a real aid to chapters -- but simply because of a couple of wins like these which seem like they would be slam dunks, doesn't mean that hiring a lawyer will always get the chapter or members off the hook.
It's still easier to obey the rules in the first place and stay out of situations where lawyers become necessary.
However, in the two cases above, the "authorities" went too far. Knowing the relationship between some Athens City and County officials and anything having to do with students, case number two is no surprize to me.
