Well I suppose this is a huge fashion faux pas since we're Greek women and are supposed to be completely fashionable all the time (right?!
) and also becauses no one's brought it up... but when my pledge class was pinned, there were many actives in the house offering up white clothes/dresses because they knew many of us wouldn't have thought to bring them/couldn't necessarily rush right to the mall to buy something. (Actives wore black, new members wore white.)
Then again... maybe people get embarassed by borrowing clothes... personally I just see my friends' clothes as an extension of my closet.
