A good many of them have continued to function "underground" where they are not forwarding new member names to nationals, but are initiating new members, holding ritual, wearing letters, the whole nine yards. I guess the only thing these new "members" do not get is a badge, but then again you can find them on ebay. This brings up a lot of questions. The people who are initiated function as brothers/sisters, yet technically in nationals eyes are not. However, it seems to be okay here, and they are supported by the greeks. What do you think about this? How does it work at your schools?

I understand what you're saying about operating underground. My chapter operated underground for two years after a university suspension and a pulled charter by nationals. Nobody wore letters but we did get new guys. Eventually it phased out into us just being one big group of friends when the new chapter came along and was filled with guys not of the same likes as us. Still we recruited other guys to go into the new chpater without nationals knowing about it. Now they have a bunch of studs there again. I'm a little anxious to know how well the chapters are doing that are operating and recruiting underground. Care to fill me in?
