Yes I did, although I didn't know it at the time.

It had been a few months since I had seen her, and I knew she was in a relationship with a quasi-aquaintance of mine. She sees me driving one day and calls me.

Apparently, she had just recently failed in her fourth suicide attempt, and since I'd last seen her, she'd been diagnosed as manic-depressive and bi-polar (which explains a lot).

I ran into the aquaintance awhile later. We spoke about it briefly. Apparently, the girls father actually paid him pretty good money to go out with her.
