WV isn't too bad.
Just depends what you want. There are a lot of undeveloped area's if you like the country and a few decent sized cities that have a lot of the things you may miss from an urban area.
I do find it kind of funny when I hear someone say that they are afraid of all the rednecks and the KKK in certain states. I mean, it's not like we have awareness days and parades wondering down the street.
I've that stuff on tv, but never in real life.
