That sounds about right. I haven't played since 1982.

If someone like fantasy sports, gambling, and performing, than that person would enjoy D&D. It was fun, but its very time consuming if done right. You have to spend several hours each week, on a regular schedule, playing it. That's great when you're 14. It doesn't really cut it when you're older and you have a lot of things going on in your life. Also, you have to find a group of people that you enjoy spending all this time with.

So, if you have the time to spare, are willing to commit the time, and like the people that you'll play with, give it a try.
