I had a Young man come into My Shop today trying to sell something for a Fund Raiser today, 2-11-05.
"Hi, I am selling an item for a fund raiser". Oh, what kind? "Well for My Fraternity". What Fraternity I ask?
Well, I am really nervous so I told Him not to worry.
What Fraternity, "Ah Lambda Chi Alpha". Really, and I throw the grip on Him. No Response. "Oh, I am New". Ah a New Associate I ask.
As Jono says, Deer In The Head lights look.
I tell him, I am a LXA from PSU and LX Z.
His name is Mike and is going to school at SE Mo. in Cape Giraudeax , or Delta Phi.
The first experience was some years ago when some of the UMKC (KCMO ) Chapter came in and I checked their IDs at My Then Spirit Shop, and noticed it and questioned them about it!
Funny looks when I whipped My ID out!
While I have had many Fraterity Members in over the Years, it always tickles me when I meet a Brother or a Possible New Brother.
Any other experiences?
