I just HAD to go looking for this topic! After talking about it all summer, I FINALLY got my belly button pierced today!! With a week and a half left before I leave for college.
I was at a friend's house and we were talking about it, and it was so spontaneous and random! We just decided to jump in the car and go get ours done. The actual piercing didn't hurt, but all day long I've been sore. I read that post where it said healing takes 4 weeks to a year... I'm gonna try and take some super care of mine because I want it to be minimal.
I love it though... I think it's so cute!
Oh, btw, I also have my ears pierced once each, but they've been done since I was a little baby so I've always kinda taken them for granted.
