I've been to bars in Uptown (New Orleans) that just check to see if you're 18 and that's it. No one really cares past that point once you're inside. Most of the ones there didn't even have a cover charge.

hahah soo true, I go to Tulane so i know all about the uptown scene. All i've gotta say is that it definately spoils you. The most I'll pay to get in to a place is $5 and my drinks better be free or dirt cheap. I don't have a fake, but its pretty easy to get served anyhow. There's nothing better than standing at the bar w. the stamp (or missing a flourescent bracelet) and hearing those magic words.. "what can i get for you?" lol
