The "right-wing conservative christian groups" are usually comprised of Evangelical Protestants. They don't have a whole lot to do w/ Catholics, many don't even consider them Christians at all.

Their founder is catholic, most of the people that work there are catholic, and the organization is rooted in catholic, not evangelical protestants, beliefs
