To someone's point of asking if they can take girls if they're over totall...at University of Maryland, during fall recruitment, because they have deferred, each sorority that is over total can still take 5 women during informal recruitment. I don't know why they do it, and I know they were trying to get back to complying with rules. Maybe they've stopped it now, but as of last year at NGLA, they were still doing it.
