Restaurants have not suffered as much here, but some of the bars definitly have. The campus pub I mentioned did suffer. Even when the opened it up to all ages, the place was still dead, and they lost money on alcohol sales because most of the patrons in there were of course the ones who couldn't drink. The only bars that do really well are the ones that offer a designated smoking area. A few of the bars in Guelph have disappeared because of the no-smoking ban. It really does hurt some businesses.
