I think the biggest problem with the Aladdin was the architect. They designed the hotel in such a way that the pool is always in the shade
Anyway, it is closing and will re-open as the Hooters Hotel and Casino - no I'm not kidding.
I know someone who got married at Treasure Island and had a luncheon at Postrio in the Venetian. I have heard it was beautiful.
I just got back from Vegas this weekend. We had a great time and stayed at Mandalay Bay, but they did not really impress me. The Hotel there may have. I also wouldn't turn down the 4 Seasons (also at Mandalay Bay).
