Welcome Sister! I joined SA because of my passion for agriculture. I've always been into ag (despite not coming from a farm!) and I was in FFA and 4-H when I was younger. Once I got to college I noticed that something was missing in our college, an ag sorority! We have a pretty active AGR but there was nothing specifically for women. So some friends (and even some women I didn't know!) got together and we chartered a chapter of Sigma Alpha at the Univ of MD. I think what draws a lot of us to SA is the sisterhood, it's comforting to know that you aren't alone in a still male dominated occupation
