The ZTA former Miss Teen SC is Ginny Ballance, but that was a few years back. Miss America a few years back was also from SC, Kimberly Aiken, who was a student at USC.
SC girls usually do well in those national pageants. Being a beauty queen is taken VERY seriously in the south!!! Those southern pageant girls are unstoppable. Northern girls just don't stand a chance!
Like on "Miss Congeniality," the girl who won was Miss Rhode Island, twirling flaming batons no less! THAT would NEVER happen!
