I'm SO glad that I got reacclimated to the cold weather. I have only buttoned my jacket around 4 times this winter so far - seriously. Those were only because it was REALLY windy while shoveling the 8 inches of snow from my sidewalks and driveway on Saturday (temp was in the teens and I don't know exactly what the windchill was but I'm sure it was zero if not slightly below). The other times were the weekend before last when we had highs in the negative 20s with windchills around minus 30s or so. I did wear gloves while shoveling otherwise I don't wear them (though I should because I have had mild frostbite TOO many times over the years).
I was outisde yesterday helping my brother switch cars around in my garage (I either have the Porsche or the Audi in my garage because I'm a nice sister with an empty side of a double garage) and didn't bother with a coat because it wasn't too bad out (sunny and around zero). I actually contemplated not wearing a coat today because it was in the 20s. . . Yup, I'm definitely back in WI and used to it! LOL Give me the cold and snow ANY DAY over heat and humidity (I was dying down in Fort Lauderdale in December when it was in the 70s and humid! But LOVING Dayton when it was around 30 or so!)
