I rented this movie last night.
It was an extremely violent and powerful movie. Although at one point I did have to turn the movie off and watch something a little light hearted because I just couldn't handle the violence.
This is probably one of, if not the most, violent movie I have ever seen.
For me, it was powerful enough to AlMOST want to make me go to church (the reason I won't would best be suited for another thread).
It was well acted, well directed. However, I do wish the Mel had stuck to his original vision and not used subtitles. The words that were spoken in this film were not as important as the emotion that was portrayed.
