I know I'm bumping up an old thread, but reading this bugged me. At my school, saying stuff like that is considered "dirty rushing" and can get you a rush infraction. We're not even allowed to say things like "see you tomorrow!" after the first day, when pretty much everyone is invited back (except for grade cuts).
I think it's even worse if a sorority says they want you at prefs, and then you don't get a bid. I know there's a group on my campus that tells girls at prefs that they will get bids to get everyone to put them first, and then a lot of girls dont get bids from them. I guess this is what happened with Greek_Girl..?
What is the policy at your school?
