Yep... that's 19 Evil for you. (Or 19 Entertainment, or TPTB, or whatever.)
The bad auditions are what keep the ratings up. If they let all the good singers through to the judges, they wouldn't have any fodder for their "Awesomely Bad Auditions" show.
Ok I have to comment on our lil rock band boi Constantine. I thought he was terrible. And here is Mr. Ozzy Osborne prototype (who apparently has a Broadway background as well) in a competition with a bunch of pop stars. The "band revealing" was a set up, I think. (Don't get me started on the Regina thing...
) And say this is what 19E is looking for. If he wins, can you imagine him singing songs written by Tamayra about rainbows and ponies and crap? NO! Did anyone learn from rocker boy Patrick in Season 2? Ugh... [/rant]
I probably won't watch the rest of the auditions because last night kind of depressed me.
Although guy w/6 (5.9%) voices was FUNNY! He should have made it based on the fact that it will have the audience rolling with his one-man chorus line.
