I grew up with Rodney and his sisters and brothers and he is the baby of the family. Those familiar with South Central LA, the house is on 94th between Budlong AND Normandie. Whew! Those were the days...

But this family is very deserving and it couldn't have happen to someone more deserving. What the show didn't show was the new van that was customized just for them and all of the money they received. Which is good cause sadly their is still some haters out there. I was so excited to see the house that I grew up in. And it is good to know that we can rise above and out ofthe ghetto. For that street alone have produced lawyers, accountants, teachers and other professionals.
Thanks for telling us a more personal side. I know that Soror Deltabrat lives in the South Central area and was hoping she would drop in and give us more insight. But you'll do too.
Tell Rodney his story touched a lot of people. I am glad to know they also got a van for the family. I really wish Rodney and his family all the best.

Can you tell us though what is the turnaround time of when the renovations were actually done and when it was aired on TV?
