I'm a beer and wine snob - no light beers or wine in a box for me
Favorite beers: Guinness, Harpoon IPA
Favorite wines: Red, especially Cabernet and Merlot. I will drink some white wines (Sauvignon Blanc, etc) but I won't touch American Chardonnays - too sweet.
Favorite mixed drinks:
- Vodka tonics made w/ lemon vodka - if I make them myself *
- Very dry Tanqueray martini straight up with a twist
- Margarita on the rocks - 4 parts tequila, 1 part triple sec, 1 part lime juice
Hard liquor: Scotch!
* Rule #1 of drinking in a bar: DO NOT order a mixed drink unless it is all alcohol (like a martini). They will water it down so much that a 4 year old could drink it
