1. To be laconic . . . we like it if it enhances and looks good.
2. We are not enamored of waiting, but like it when you wear a lot of make-up, and are dressed to kill, (see above) so please start earlier.
3. There is no such thing as to much if make-up if it fits #1 and #2.
4. Speaking for myself I am always more likely to notice the girl in make-up than not.
5. In my experience men that say they don't like the "make-up look", Which I guess means they don't like women being better looking than life, are generally intimidated. ITs harder to walk up to the better looking and better dressed people in a group.
6. In conclusion: Please wear make-up, please dress sharp, please start earlier and be on time, but most importanly please make sure you are skillful on the application of make-up.
Qualifier: This is from a man that brings fashion conscious women with him shopping so he looks presentable. However, it demonstrates that I know my failings
