Well, my college is the cougar, so that's pretty normal. My sister's school was the Belmont Abbey Crusaders (Catholic school, go figure). It's a dude on a horse with a lance and a sword. One of her homecoming t-shirts said "oh what a knight." I always thought that was cute.
But the craziest mascots come from the high schools in my hometown of Columbia, SC. OK, first is the Blazers. What is that?? The picture is of a horse or something. I guess it's supposed to be a trailblazer or something. What's worse is their colors are purple and silver. And of course, being the Blazers, there were always marajuana-slanted jokes. Then there's the Lower Richland Diamonds. Ooo, what mascot strikes fear into the heart of men...? And we cannot forget the Eau Claire Shamrocks and the Heathwood Hall Highlanders. It's a guy in a kilt. He looks like the janitor from the Simpsons! (And the HIGHlanders garner a lot of weed jokes, too.)
