I live in a pretty safe town, but we've always locked our doors, especially at night or when we aren't home we only have one regular little lock on each door, nothin too fancy. The only security system we have is Delaney, my 35 lb pit bull mix who sounds and looks mean as hell, but shes actually sweet as pie.
I ALWAYS lock my car! But I always have tons of stuff in it, a few jackets, a few movies, a couple changes of clothes, 100+ CDs, etc. I'd be really screwed if someone broke into my car.
