I have a chapter sister who was the same way with curry.

We were at an event one afternoon and we didn't know what was on the menu. Anyway, chicken curry w/ pita bread was one of the items...and just the smell made her run out of the room, into the bathroom, where she proceeded to yack.

When she was a kid she nearly died after accidentally eating curry in her school cafeteria. She couldn't breathe because she felt like her airpipes were blocked.

The not-BF is the same with mangoes. Poor guy. Born and raised in Hawai`i and allergic to mangoes.
