I've always preferred pants to skirts. My work wardrobe largely consists of slacks and nice sleeveless or short-sleeved tops. In cooler weather I'll wear a long-sleeved top or add a sweater. Even when I worked for a dotcom where we could wear jeans, I just didn't feel it was professional to do so, so I kept to slacks.
On weekends and days when I'm telecommuting, I usually wear jeans, t-shirt, and sweatshirt (winter) or shorts and t-shirt (summer).
When I go out, I wear outfits similar to my work wardrobe, maybe a little more daring, but nothing too revealing - I am married, after all
