I remember about six or seven years ago, my mother and I were talking about sales and she said one day they would have MLK sales just like all the other holidays, as time progresses we become desensitized to the point of the holiday and more on the fact that we don't have to attend work.

(Sidenote, not to be tasteless but based on some of his escapades he might actually approve it )
