Why do SFs ask "bold" questions on the internet, but won't DARE ask a Soror in person?
Well, considering that off the bat some people have the suspicion that they might get slammed, they may rather just take their chances with the internet. They are just playing the odds. Heads: Maybe they will luck up and get their question answered or Tails: If they get slammed, they can just blow it off, pretend it never happened, and assume a new "internet identity."

Why do SOME SFs ask some of the most ridiculous questions without searching for the answer, if a answer exists?
That would be too easy....

Why do SFs 'flip flop' orgs they are so-called interested in?
Flip-floppers really aren't interested in any org. They just want to be a part of something.

Why do SFs "claim" they want to be a member of XYZ, then become a member and DON'T DO JACK?
They want the attention or "glamour" that comes with just being able to utter the words "I'm an XYZ," wearing the para, strolling/struting, etc.

Is it worth thousands of dollars to become a member of XYZ, when you can do community service for free?
Although one can do community service for free, to some, the other incentives of being a member of XYZ may be priceless.

Do you really want to become a member of an organization for the RIGHT reasons, or are you trying to get a man? get attention?
The right reasons...

Why is it that SOME SFs purport to know everything there is to know about greekdom, but have yet to become a member?
They don't want to admit their shortcomings. Or maybe they have watched too many movies and TV shows that feature greeklife and feel that they have it under control.

Why put on a facade to try to get sponsorship?
Some people KNOW that there is NO other way for them to reach their goal. Like Chris Rock said in "Bigger and Blacker," that's their "representative."

Why look to an organization to define who you are? Why not have a sense of self BEFORE you join?
Unfortunately, some people don't have a sense of self before joining. While I don't think that a person should be defined by the organization, joining an org. may help to lead people in the right direction to becoming the person they need/desire/want to be.

Why do some SF get the impression that membership is OWED to them?
Sometimes, some people are used to things being given to them instead of being earned.

Why do some SF don't feel like they have to work towards the goal that is Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.?
Some people have romanticized views that they just have to show up to Rush, do a few activities, and that's all it takes. They have no idea.

SFs, do you feel like b/c of the easy access to memberfriends via the internet that there is less motivation to do your own research?
Not at all. Though the internet has made research a lot easier, when it gets down to it, hardly any of the stuff on the 'net matters. It's what you can do independently without all this fancy technology that matters.

GC is pretty good with not attracting nutballs worthy of restraining orders but I have been members of other sisterfriend/soror sites & the prevelant attitude is that there is no humility i.e arguing with and or trying to cuss out a member of the organization you wish to be a part of. Why do you think that is?
NO NONSENSE MODERATORS!!!

Why do some SFs choose not to use it? In regards to flip-flopping between orgs, if you never said anything, then no one would ever know that you changed your mind. So, SFs, I ask you, how do you view discretion and what does it mean to you? What do you think it means to the organization?
Some SFs just don't know better. I think that some Sfs get excited to find a "community" where people have a common interest and get overzealous. That causes them to trip. With time, I think most SFs learn the ropes. Discretion is keeping private things private and that's that. Loose lips sink ships. Discretion to can literally be a matter of life or death to an organization.

If you were a legacy, would you tell?
Yes.

If your blood sister was an AKA perp would you tell or would you let my Sorors think she was real?
I would tell.

Have you ever thought about perping? What made you decide against it?
NEVER considered it.

In your own words, what is the difference between a necessity and a luxury?
A necessity is something that is needed to maintain (i.e. food, shelter, electricity, water). A luxury is something that I would like, but can continue to live without--meaning, I won't die if I never have one in life

If you have to ask what the "right" reason is for joining an organization, should you even be thinking about joining?
No.

What, if any, is the advantage of doing community service in a group as opposed to doing it alone?
Two heads are better than one, so to speak. The more manpower, the better. However, some people may be a little too "chicken" to do things alone. So, if it takes rounding up some of your girls to get you off your butt and go out to feed the homeless, go for it.
