Why do you ask? Have you been to "Ivy Acres" or made monetary support for it under EAF? [/B][/QUOTE]
Isn't EAF dedicated to the perptual support of lifelong learning?Although I have made some monetary support to EAF, I have yet to see Ivy Acres in person;I have only seen drawings of it.
From my understanding, Ivy Acres is a project supported by members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, incorporated for the community and expands on retirement planning education to help persons make informed choices about savings and retirement planning.
I asked because I have a keen interest in A/A who are/have been/trying to be successful in non-traditional businesses. When I attended the Alpha's Convention last year, entities such as Church's Chicken, Taco Bell, and companies like Delphi (who contract A/A women/minorities for parts and services) were "marketing" themselves to potential clients. So I wondered if established organizations such as yourselves were considering expanding the organization into the private/public sectors such as those.
Sidebar: Just through your writing , I can tell you are HARDLY just a chapter member.
