Hot: Jaw-dropping beauty - think like David. Only really confident. Being hot is effortless, edgy, intense.
Handsome: Whereas hot is intense, being handsome is effortless and relaxed. Handsome is a sense of familiarity, like a classic charm. Confidence is also a must to be handsome.
Cute: less confident on the whole but still smiley and dateable. Cute comes from being beauatiful or just below looks wise only these guys lack an intensity, edginess. or a relaxed nature. When I think of a cute guy, he's energetic.
