Pinwheel aired on Nickelodeon from about 1979-1987. It was a mix of live action people and puppets (kinda like a knockoff Sesame Street) and little cartoon shorts.

Orchid, I remember the Ghostbusters cartoon too! They would jump on a matress and yell "go go ghostbusters!" before going to solve a crime or whatever.
